In October 2025, Sony Corporation first unveiled the camera sensor chips LYT-838 and LYT-910. The LYT-838 has a 1/1.28-inch outsole and 50 million pixels, supports LOFIC high dynamic technology, and is expected to be launched by OPPO or vivo.
The LYT-910 is the first 200 million pixel CMOS with a 1/1.11 inch substrate and a single pixel area of 0.7um, which may be first released by a certain Ultra flagship. LOFIC technology is considered by the industry as the next generation of high dynamic technology, capable of solving multi frame HDR problems and providing high dynamic range. Multiple manufacturers such as Honor, Xiaomi, Huawei, OPPO, vivo, and Apple are actively deploying this technology.
